The initial idea was born in flowerkid’s home studio. The synths, the drums and the hook all paved the way for HANDSOME and St. South to weave their own stories into it. Adding some extra flair, aficionado guitarist Chloe Dadd contributed some gritty magic to really amp up the finale.

'Running Out of Time' employs tension and high energy production to elucidate the themes of the track; imploding relationships, a lack of care for others and the lure of the toxic persona. Fitting together seamlessly, HANDSOME, flowerkid and St. South’s vocals all have their own mellow tones, which counteract the tense bpm.

This collaboration hints at a larger body of work by HANDSOME set for release next year. A sucker for connection with other artists, learning and sharing knowledge is imperative to her growth as an artmaker.
